The BMX bike is one of the easiest bikes to ride when compared with other types. BMX stands for bicycle motocross. The Merriam-Webster dictionary states that BMX racing resembles motocross with dirt tracks and jumps with special, heavy-duty bicycles. BMX bikes can be used as casual cruising bikes, for dirt-track motocross or for freestyle trick riding, where riders do tricks and jumps. The simple design, small tires and compact frame enable BMX bike riders to do a wide array of moves that are not possible on mountain bikes or other types.
